2021 RACE DETAILS:


The best night of the week is back! Join us Thursday nights as racers go toe to toe and see who is crowned the weekly champions of the mountain (hill). This year, Freewheel Bike and Buck Hill are bringing you a full summer of racing beginning June 3rd. Keep up to date on weekly races and race status here.


REGISTRATION:
Registration: $15, $20 day of race.
All riders under 16: $1, $5 day of race.
Kids Race: FREE!
**All registration takes place via the It's Your Race site and/or app. This includes payment. Follow the above link to register. 
**Registration closes at 5:45 PM day of race**

Packet Pick-up: 4:30-6:00PM
Race Start: 6:15PM
Food, beverages, shenanigans: All night long!

6:15 Sport Class (2 lap race)
6:18 Beginner Class (1 lap race)
7:00 Advanced Men (4 lap race)
7:00 Advanced Women + Fat Bike (3 lap race)
7:05 Kid’s Race
*All Race times are approximate and subject to change.

This schedule allows Sport and Beginner class riders to get close to the finish line before Advanced riders are able to catch up to them. Awards and prize giveaways will be held once Advanced races are complete.

Cancellations due to weather will be refunded for all pre-registered riders, with the exception of the IYR service fee. Stay up to date on weekly race status on our Facebook event page.

Frequently Asked Questions:


1. Do I get a new race number every week?
Yes. To increase our ability to have accurate chip reads, we will provide a new race number every week.

2. How much does it cost to race?
Early registration is $15 for adults, $1 for kids 17 and under. The day of registration is $20 for adults, $5 for youth.

3. I showed up late, and missed registration ends at 5:45. What can I do?
Head on up to the deck, order a cold beverage, a sandwich and enjoy a night of watching some great races. Pre-registering is highly encouraged.

4. When does my race start?
Sport, 6:15. Beginner, 6:18. Advanced and Fat Bike 7:00. These times may change over the course of the summer. Please keep an eye on the Facebook event page for race updates.

5. Issues with registration?
Email events.team@freewheelbike.com. If a racer is on-site at Buck, talk to us at the timing tent.

6. I left before the podium and didn’t receive my prize.
Must be present! Come back next week and take another shot at getting on that podium.

7. Can I register in the store?
All registrations are done through Its Your Race.

8. What should I do if I am unable to finish the race for any reason?
Stop by the timing booth at the finish line and let us know, and we will update the race records.
