First, we want you to know we’re keeping our shops open.
Now more than ever, we feel Freewheel Bike is central to Minnesota’s social and transportation fabric. As folks search for alternatives to mass transit and health clubs, we want to ensure everyone who’s relying on their bike, whether for stress relief or getting around, can count on us for support.
The safety of our employees and customers is our number one priority. And we’ve implemented a few changes to keep every one as safe as possible.
REDUCED HOURS: All shops will now be open 12–6 p.m. These reduced hours allow our staff to complete administrative and merchandising tasks in the morning before shops open.
HEALTHY & SAFETY MEASURES: In addition to following all CDC standards for hygiene, we’ve closed the cafe at our Midtown shop, we’re no longer allowing trying on clothes in our fitting rooms, and we’re maintaining a strict 6’ social distancing policy at all Freewheel shops.
ONLINE & DELIVERY: We’re beefing up our online sales and reducing or eliminating the cost of shipping for online orders. If you purchase a new bike, we can deliver it directly to your home!
That’s it for now. We encourage you all to stay vigilant, ride your bike, and wash your hands.
